With temps falling into the "teens" at night, a thin layer of sheet ice has formed on top of our blue jewel. However, shoreline anglers need not despair, there are still plenty of "honey-holes" to fish after the mid-morning melt off! Try the North Shore just east of the dam, Fisher Road, Stanfield Cutoff, Windy Point and the Serrano Campgrounds because these shorelines are still consistently producing beautiful 'Bows. A variety of Power and Gulp Baits, especially Rainbow Garlic, Sherbet Burst, American Pie and Salmon Egg (Peach Color), suspended on a 3'-4' leader off the bottom are still the meal of choice for Big Bear Lake's "Pink Meats". Dress warm and be patient and you will not be disappointed!

Until next time...here's wishing you Happy Holidays, Tight lines and Full Stringers!
