Trout fishing is reported as good.
Catfish, Largemouth bass, Bluegill/Redear, and Carp fishing are all reported as slow
Mt. Lassen stocked 1,000 lbs. on 12/1. Fred Douglas of Yucaipa caught an 8.25 lb. trout. Other large 8-10 pounders were brought out but not weighed. The middle of the lake was our best producer this week. Best baits were PowerBait, trout worms, jigs and nightcrawlers. Next stocking will be 12/8 with the DFG also slated to stock. State fishing license is required but are no longer available at the park.

The lakes will be closed for stocking. DFG stocked on 11/2/2011 resulting in a good preseason fishing for pan sized fish.
