Fishermen are doing well at Lake Glen Helen, the average size trout being caught is 3 to 4 lbs. They are using a variety of powerbait.

Trout fishing is reported as good. Catfish, Largemouth bass, Bluegill/Redear, and Carp fishing are all reported as slow Mt. Lassen stocked 1,000 lbs. on 12/1. Fred Douglas of Yucaipa caught an 8.25 lb. trout. Other large 8-10 pounders were brought out but not weighed. The middle of the lake was our best producer this week. Best baits were PowerBait, trout worms, jigs and nightcrawlers. Next stocking will be 12/8 with the DFG also slated to stock. State fishing license...... Read More

Yucaipa Park Lake Report: Trout: Good Catfish: Slow Bluegill/Redear: Slow Carp: Slow Trout season began Friday November 11th with a county plant of 1,000 lbs. Now stocking trout weekly. Many anglers getting limits with the fish averaging just over 1 lb. each. Best baits were PowerBait, mini-jigs and night crawlers.
