It was another good fishing week here at Lake Skinner. Once again, we had happy anglers catching their limits of stripers over at launch ramp 1 and launch ramp 2 using PowerBait and trout mallows.

Some of our anglers have been fairing well catching catfish in the coves, using nightcrawlers and plastics. Lastly, next stocking of trout will be on December 1.

Trout season begins at Lake Skinner

This week at Lake Skinner the trout season began and is doing well. Anglers have been using our trout mallows that we carry at the store and a variety of PowerBaits also sold at the store. Anglers have been catching tout in the coves and between launch ramp 1 and 2. Anglers have been catching limits of stripers over at the Inlet. The next trout stocking will be on November 18th.......
