An improved catfish bite last week as the cold front brought in rain and moving water into the creek inlet. Night crawlers dipped in garlic oil was the bait of choice. Bruce Kindle and his two daughters Brie and Kelsey weighed in 6 catfish at an amazing 36lbs! The largest weighed 9 lb 05oz.

3,000lbs of trout will be stocked on Tuesday November 15th. The lake will be closed for stocking on 11/15 only. Many of these trout will be in the 5 lb to 18 lb class.

Our annual 'Float Tubes Only' event will be the following day on Wednesday November 16th. This event is catch and release only...barbless artificial flies and lures. The cost is $45 and includes a barbeque lunch. There are no boats or shoreline fisherman allowed to fish at the lake on Wednesday.

Trout season opener will begin on Thursday November 17th. Gates open at 6am.
