Frank Ursitti checked in to give us an update on the Coral Sea, "Our first trip back here at Channel Islands was really, really good. We had great weather dead flat seas. We fished San Miguel Island today we had limits of quality rockfish. We had reds, big johnnies and chucks. We had live squid a sprinkling of whitefish. We dropped back to Santa Rosa Island today. We managed to put on board a 30 lb. halibut. It is just an all around great day of fishing. It was great to be on the water fall fishing here in the northern Channel Islands.

We have a lot of trips on-line, we put together a pretty decent schedule. You can check our schedule for the Coral Sea on-line at CoralSeaSportfishing.com. Click on the schedule tab and find your trip. We have a lot of overnight trips, those will be departing at 10:00 PM the night prior to the day of fishing. We have Saturdays and Sundays, some Local trips, fishing at both 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM so don't miss out this is the time of year to fish the northern Channel Islands. The weather gets good, the ocean gets flat, and the fishing can just be 'off the hook'."
