With Father's Day Weekend approaching Alicia and I decided to load up on fish tacos by jumping on her favorite 1/2 Day boat The Speed Twin out of Channel Islands Sportfishing. We had a great time fishing with Captain Steve Earwood and his Crew. We first checked the flats for Sand Bass as we ran over some promising marks, but unfortunately they didn't want to bite. We then made our way to the east end of Anacapa and picked up some nice Reds, Starries, Widows, and Chuckleheads. The water is warming up and Captain Steve Earwood mentioned he'd be targeting Bass during this summer with some more surface action! The Speed Twin is the perfect 1/2 Day boat for anglers of all ages and levels of experience! The scoreboard totaled up to 29 Vermilion Rockfish, 5 Sculpin, 135 Rockfish, and 2 Lingcod for 30 anglers.
