Stripers are still boiling all over the fish arm and around Kong Island. The boils have been very spread out and not very condensed. Heddon Spooks, Pencil Poppers and Sammie's are working great for the boils. Stripers can also be found near the buoy line on Sardines and top water baits at times throughout the day. The catfish bite has been really great over the past week. Mackerel and nightcrawlers are working for the cats around the West Ramp, Elizabeth Cyn, The Buoy line and near Kong Island. Largemouth are biting on drop shot pretty much all day. Robo worms and Senkos and little Berkley minnows are the best to drop shot. They will come up and boil on the shad so the top water baits are working great as well. Lagoon fishing has still been decent at night but is picking up during the day. Largies are still biting worms and top water baits. Crappie are still biting on jigs and wax worms.

The morning hours have been hit and miss as far as boils but the stripers are biting the sardines in Sharron's Rest and near the buoy line. The afternoon and late evening before closing has been the best time for striper boils. Any top water bait will do the trick, just look for the boils at the mouth of the coves and...... Read More
