Stripers and Cats have been the most common catch of the day. Some people caught fish, and others did not. We also had some bass in the mix. Cats are hitting in the coves and strippers have been hitting off the South Shore. Good luck fishing.

Catfish abound with the recent county stocking efforts. Nightcrawlers are the best lure for the kitties who are located primarily in the coves. Striped Bass are hitting best on anchovies with the best reports coming from the inlet and the East End. Panfish are plentiful from both the shore and from boats. Largemouth have been taken on plastic worms by the experienced regular fishermen, so the action was slower. ...... Read More
