The recent Catfish plant has led to a good Catfish bite

With the recent stocking of catfish we had a large number of catches. Anchovies seemed to be what was working with the Stripers. Currently some of the hot spots have been over by the dam and handicapped area. The South shore has also been getting some hits.

Fishing action was good this week at Lake Skinner
Lake SkinnerCatfish abound with the recent county stocking efforts. Nightcrawlers are the best lure for the kitties who are located primarily in the coves. Striped Bass are hitting best on anchovies with the best reports coming from the inlet and the East End. Panfish are plentiful from both the shore and from boats.
