The Department of Fish and Game stocked the main ramp with 2,700 lbs. on Wednesday the 29th of June. Trout can still be found at both ramps and they are still biting off the same baits they have been for the last couple of plants. Supe dupers, panther martins and PowerBait are working the best.
Largies can still be found in all of the coves and they are biting plastics from the surface down to around 25 even 40 feet in some spots. The morning bite definitely seems to be doing better than the afternoon. Some afternoon fish are biting and it has mostly been off the top, on either a fluke or a popper.
Stripers are still coming in but it is hard to say whether or not the bite is picking up. The buoy line produces a few fish though out the day as well as the West Cliffs and C-point. Sardines are working best for fishing off the shoreline from the dam area. Nightcrawlers are still the best all around bait bringing in stripers, cats, largies, and trout. Fishing at the lagoon is still doing pretty good at night and in the early morning hours.
