The Department of Fish and Game stocked the West Ramp on Monday June 13th with 2,700 lbs. of rainbow trout. Trout are biting around both ramps and the dam all day long. Spinner, power bait and tubes have been working great.

Still only a few stripers coming in from the shoreline and off the boats, most of which are being caught on nightcrawlers. The nightcrawlers are also working for largies and panfish. The panfish can be targeted in very shallow waters near submerged bushes and trees. The largies are hanging out near the points and in the backs of the coves around 5 to 20 feet. Top water baits are starting to work and shad sightings are becoming more frequent.
