The Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival will be taking place June 3rd, 4th & 5th. The lake will be closed for all fishing during this event. Most of the week was taken up with Solar Cup events, however, fishing was reported to be more or less the same as last week with some good days and some bad days.

Overall the striper bite picked up, mostly by boat near the dam off of chicken liver and anchovies. Bass are still hitting strong in the morning hours near the reeds back in the coves along the South Shore. Catfish are being more selective hitting mackerel and some other bait but we are not hearing that much from the Catfish fishermen. Bluegill and carp are fair to midland as well.

Good Luck Fishing and Happy Tails!

The water level has been going up which has pushed some bass into...... Read More
