This week at Lake Perris the bass bite has been holding steady with the majority being caught off boats near the east end of the lake and near Bernasconi.

Panfish have been the most active catch of the week. They are being caught around the island and near the marina docks. Crappie have been steadily biting stingers over all other lures. Carp are also being caught near lot 6 & 7 by the boat landing.

With the exception of a couple of "dead" days, there has been plenty of action. Largemouth bass continue to hit at the east end of the lake with plastic lures that have a dark color. Redear have been hitting at lots 11 and 12 with redworms. The frequent reports of Largemouth Bass from the east end of the lake and Crappie and Bluegill from the Marina docks have made for a substantial report. Largemouth have been hitting darker colored lures was well as the average nightcrawler. Crappie have been hitting ten to fifteen feet deep with yellow and white stingers.
