With the exception of a couple of "dead" days, there has been plenty of action. Largemouth bass continue to hit at the east end of the lake with plastic lures that have a dark color. Redear have been hitting at lots 11 and 12 with redworms. Bluegill and crappie have been keeping anglers satisfied if red and white /yellow and white stingers and crickets are used of the Marina dock.

The frequent reports of Largemouth Bass from the east end of the lake and Crappie and Bluegill from the Marina docks have made for a substantial report. Largemouth have been hitting darker colored lures was well as the average nightcrawler. Crappie have been hitting ten to fifteen feet deep with yellow and white stingers. The fishing action for Lake Perris has slowed down considerably compared to last week. The east end of the lake has still been the most active location. Largemouth bass are hitting on various top-water lures. The trout bite has been slow but those that are hitting are going after garlic bait and Nightcrawlers and/or orange powerbait. The bite for bluegill has been very limited. Those that are biting are at the Marina and are hitting on crickets and red worms. ...... Read More
