STARTING MARCH 12TH, THE TACKLE SHOP WILL BE OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6 AM. Two nice loads of fish were put into the lake this week. 700 pounds of DFG trout and 1200 pounds of Rainbows from Jess Ranch. The weather looks like it is going to be perfect for fishing and there are lots of wildlife to watch while you are waiting for a bite. Trout fishing has been the best for trollers who worked the top 20ft. of the water column. Rapalas, Kastmasters and crawlers were the top baits this week. Fish were caught all over the lake but the narrows and Cachuma Bay seemed to be the most consistent areas. Shore angling reports were limited but Drakes Cove, E Point and Harveys Bay all produced.
