Trout fishing was good following the plant on the 15th. Both shore anglers and trollers did well. Trollers did well with many limits reported. Rapalas and needlefish were the top producers for the boaters; powerbait and nightcrawlers were getting the job done on the bank. Bass fishing is still on the slow side but the river channel seemed to be the best location, while jigs and spoons were the best baits. All other species were sleepers.

The best shore locations continued to be E point and Harveys. Inflated nightcrawlers and power bait the beat offerings. All other species were slow but hopefully a slight water temperature change should improve the bite. Rate the action based over the past week: Bass...... Read More
