Fishing was great early in the week when the temperatures were up and the wind was down. Scott Zinsmeyer was fishing from shore on the peninsula, using a kastmaster lure and a Thomas boyant lure and limited out on trout in 15 minutes time. Scott Lisk of Colton was fishing on his 60th birthday down by the spillway with needlefish lure and took home a 15" trout. Janette Lisk, who was fishing for the first time caught a 14' trout using needlefish lure by the spillway.
