Trout action was slow again this week . Best bite was before 10 am Anglers used Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, garlic and orange), night crawlers, jigs and lures. Best bite was before 10 am. Hot spots included the grassy point and the eastern and western shores of lake 3 as well as the western and northern shores of lake 2. Catfish were biting on shrimp and night crawlers. Bass slowed as well with anglers spinner bait and senkos to catch fish up to 3 pounds. Hot spots for bass included the northern and western shores of lake 3 and the western and southern shores of lake 2. Bluegill are biting meal worms and small jigs from the southern and eastern shore of lake 2 and the northern and western shores of lake 3 . The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall. Fishing schedule is from Friday through Sunday, 7am to 4pm.
