Opposed to last week, the panfish bite at the Marina has slowed down considerably. The early morning crappie bite off the docks is still showing to be promising though. Lot 8 has been the big talk for panfish, redworms and crickets. Largemouth has been hitting all over the lake. Aaron's magic and nightcrawlers have been the bait of choice for many anglers.

The following are the fish ratings:
Bass: Good
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Fair
Redear: Fair
Trout: Fair

The hot temperatures that Lake Perris has had the past week seems to be provoking large quantities of Bluegill and Redear off of Redworms and Crickets all around Allessandro Island. There are large amounts of Panfish hitting in the Marina (strictly early morning it seems). Many reports for Largemouth Bass have also been coming from Lots 11 & 12. The panfish bite at Lake Perris has been dramatically overwhelming with all other fish being pulled. It has been as they say, "wide-open" for bluegills and redears around the island with crickets and redworms. The crappie bite on the Marina Dock has still been quite sporatic for most.
