The panfish bite at Lake Perris has been dramatically overwhelming with all other fish being pulled. It has been as they say, "wide-open" for bluegills and redears around the island with crickets and redworms. The crappie bite on the Marina Dock has still been quite sporatic for most. Still, good size crappie have been pulled out everyday. Early morning is best.

The following are the fish ratings:
Bass: Good with an average size of 2-4 lbs.
Bluegill: Good with an average size of .5-1 lb.
Carp: Poor
Catfish: Poor
Crappie: Good with an average size of 1-2 lbs.
Redear: Good with an average size of .5-1 lb.
Trout: Fair with an average size of 1-2 lbs.
