Isabella dropped to 32 percent of capacity and is gradually dropping. There is a great crappie bite going here in shallow and out in deeper water. Our sources have been using super small dagger style mini jigs, curly tails and 2-inch Keitechs in various colors. The color patterns have been changing daily along with the depth of the bite. Crappie slabs are coming in good numbers near Red’s Marina, North Fork trees and the cages around Kissack Cove. Bass are showing in great numbers, maybe not the quality you may be looking for. Our contacts reported an epic reaction and finesse bite going here. The larger bass are there just not showing as frequent. Tossing big baits is your best bet for a larger one, although some of the smaller bass have been chewing big baits. Whiskerfish are showing later in the day and into the evening with SSS dip bait, frozen shad and nightcrawlers. Trout anglers are finding them near the North Fork using floating baits and in deeper water near the dam. Boaters dragging Tasmanian Devils, Needlefish and Flicker shad have had great success.
