Isabella dropped to 33 percent of capacity and continues to release water. The overall fishing here this week has been solid for multiple species. Crappie are showing in good numbers and size with Keitechs and mini jigs in various colors. The best bet for crappie has come from Reds and South Fork. Anglers have also been scoring well trolling shad imitation baits. Our sources reported bass fishing continues to be solid and its more numbers than quality. Most of the bass are small in the 1 to 2-pound range, but an occasional bigger bucket mouth will show up. Spinnerbaits in the trees along with buzzbaits, walking baits and whopper ploppers have scored fish. Whiskerfish are showing more frequently near the dam and Camp 9 with SSS Dip Bait, mackerel, shad and large nightcrawlers. Trout fishing for the bait and wait anglers appears to have slowed from the excellent bite over the last couple months. Anglers have been finding them near the North Fork using floating baits and in deeper water near the dam. Boaters trolling with Tasmanian Devils, Needlefish and Flicker shad continue to score limits.
