Live small or medium shiners have been fooling crappie in good numbers. Boat anglers trolling shad patterned baits have been scoring slabs with an occasional trout in the mix. The trout action has been very good as well at French Gulch, old cemetery and the auxiliary Dam. Trout have been coming on minijigs, Garlic scented Powerbait, Kastmasters, Roostertails, and GULP! Pinched Crawlers. Boat anglers are trolling spoons at depths of 25 to 30-feet trolling better grade trout up to 5-pounds.
