Day 1 of the deep water rockfish season is in the books. We started off fishing in the shallows for whitefish and then spent the last part of the day fishing deep for rockfish. We had great fishing and puts lots of quality fish in the bags. The whitefish fish were big boys. 
Our 32 anglers caught 
114 rockfish 
257 whitefish 
1 lingcod 
2 sheepshead
