Scott Treadway continued his assault on aqueduct striper last week with his big fish coming in over 10 pounds. Lugworms, nightcrawlers, and cut baits all worked for bites. Scott’s Get Bent Baits Jerkbaits also fooled fish in the mornings and evenings. Flukes on a jig head were also a reliable option as well. Catfish anglers used fresh shrimp, dip baits, and cut baits soaked on the Carolina rig with a heavy sinker. Largemouth fell for drop shot plastics in baitfish and green pumpkin. They also took poppers before the sun came up.
