The lake is holding at 7 percent and there continues to be better than average crappie action. Fish have been reportedly coming from French Gulch Marina and around the rock piles on crappie jigs or live minnows. Our contacts reported solid catfish action for fish to 10 pounds on mackerel, Dip Baits, and night crawlers. The largemouth bass fishing has slowed a bit for quantity, but the quality has gotten better. Bass have been coming on deep diving crankbaits, Senkos and creature baits. Trout action remains fair with a few holdovers coming out in deeper water near the auxiliary dam.
