Fishing was decent for aqueduct anglers last week. Largemouth remained the best bet, and catfishing has been solid too. Bass went for topwater early and late in the day, and anglers fooled them with finesse plastics and Senkos mid-day. Catfish ate dip bait, nightcrawlers, and cut sardines with some anglers reporting five to ten catfish overnight. Striper anglers reported a decent bite on both bait and lures. Bait anglers used cut baits, bloodworms, and jumbo live shiners, and lure anglers fooled fish with Flukes, swimbaits, and jerkbaits. Some nice topwater striper were reported by early morning anglers.
