Anglers reported slower fishing at Truxtun Lakes last week, and bass were the best bet. Bass anglers used Senkos, drop shot, and creature baits to fool some nice sized bass, but the numbers were lower. A few bass fell for square billed crankbaits as well. Catfish ate chicken liver, dip bait, and nightcrawlers, and bluegill took waxworms, mealworms, and redworms.
