Bluegill: Not active- Use meal worms with small hook near shallow areas.

Stripped Bass: Active- Been biting on chicken liver and anchovies as well as heavy lures near the dam/ inlet plastic worms and drop shots always a plus. Boils early and late afternoon.

Largemouth Bass: Spawning- Spinner baits a favorite in the shallows, slow but biting in bullies on night crawlers and plastic worms.

Catfish: Some activity- using stink bait, chicken liver, deep water near launch ramp too.

Trout: No activity- Very slow, not stocking use bright power bait worms and mice tails.

Stripper/Large mouth are doing best Stripper - Doing well! Mostly being caught at the Dam/ inlet. Chicken Liver is best to use but anchovies work as well. Large Mouth- Doing good! Most people are using fake worms plastics/swim baits/crank baits. Most being caught in coves across from Launch Ramp 2. Blue Gill is picking up. Hot spot is unknown. Striped Bass: Anchovies, sardines or cut bait down by the buoy line and inlet area will work best for these beauties, nightcrawlers are also working well this past week. Bluegill: On the slower side this past week. Far and few between but still some anglers have gotten lucky. Mini jigs tipped with a mealworm or crickets are still the most productive way.
