Stripper/Large mouth are doing best
Stripper - Doing well! Mostly being caught at the Dam/ inlet. Chicken Liver is best to use but anchovies work as well.
Large Mouth- Doing good! Most people are using fake worms plastics/swim baits/crank baits.
Most being caught in coves across from Launch Ramp 2.
Blue Gill is picking up. Hot spot is unknown. A 3.6 lb blue gill was caught week of 4/25/22

Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: Anchovies, sardines or cut bait down by the buoy line and inlet area will work best for these beauties, nightcrawlers are also working well this past week. Bluegill: On the slower side this past week. Far and few between but still some anglers have gotten lucky. Mini jigs tipped with a mealworm or crickets are still the most productive way. Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: Decent action on cut bait at the dam and inlet. Anglers have also had decent luck motoring around looking for schools of fish barely subsurface. Bluegill: Crickets have been the most effective bait this week although have had good action catching spawning gills on mini jigs. Catfish: Catfish is picking up this past week.
