The bass bite has been good all day, and a ton of bluegill have been showing up all around the lake. The most productive areas around the lake have been over by three pipes, the back side of the lake and around the island. The best baits to use have been night crawlers & meal worms. For the bass, drop shot plastics in dark colors & top water in the morning. Catfishing is good from the point & launch ramp. Best bait for catfish has been mackerel, shrimp and nightcrawlers.

Catfish - Anglers are reporting great to excellent catfishing with the latest stocking of 1,500 lbs on Monday, May 18. Catfish are in the range of 1.5 - 4lbs in size. The best fishing spots from a boat have been in the flats and from shore by the launch ramp.
