WATER TEMPERATURE: 60

Fishing throughout the lake and from the shoreline has been picking up over the past
few weeks with the warmer conditions.

Bass are moving towards the shorelines to bed and have been biting various soft plastics and creature baits along with smaller swim  baits and jerkbaits.

Stripers are making their way towards the surface in the early hours of the morning but have still been biting various cut baits such as Mackerel and Sardines up to 60 ft deep. People have also been having luck trolling heavy kastmasters and deep diving jerkbaits off points around the lake to come across the stripers on the move. Some anglers have had luck catching trout out along Bear Trap and Yellowbar walls down deep using nightcrawlers and power bait throughout the day.

Catfish are still eating any cut bait within the coves hooked up Carolina style.
