October 18, 2009:

    Sarah Domanski, age 15, Hemet, was fishing with her dad and caught a big rainbow trout in the middle of the lake with powerbait.
October 17, 2009:
    Ricky and Ryan Caspary, Norco, each limited out on trout using rainbow powerbait with glitter. All big enough to eat

    Tyler Whercy, 14, Riverside caught an 18" Bass using nightcrawlers in the middle of the lake.
October 13, 2009:
    Kevin, Hemet resident, caught 4 1-2 lb. trout using powerbait.

October 11, 2009: Fishing has been really good this week. The perfect fall weather has the trout really biting. Pete Wynn, Hemet, limited out on trout using nightcrawlers trolling by the dam. Most were about 16" in lenght. October 10, 2009: Jason Martinez, Temecula, caught 3 trout using lures. All were 2-2 1/2 lbs! Bruce Cox and his buddy from Yucca Valley were worm fishing. Despite the very windy conditions, cool weather has brought some lucky fishermen good trout catches. October 03, 2009: Kelly Woods, Indio, was fishing with worms by the dam. She caught 2-2 lb. Trout.
