The Bass action started to improve this week with more fish reported than weeks past. Bass have been coming on drop shot, jigs and crankbaits. It’s been a few weeks since the last trout plant here. Holdover fish have been going for minijigs, spinners, pinched crawlers and garlic scented Powerbait. Bluegill have been going for wax worms, meal worms and red worms. The crappie bite is still going but has slowed a bit. The best Crappie action has been in the late afternoon with small live shiners and crappie jigs with nibbles.
