Fishing has been fair at Buena Vista Lake with anglers having the most success fishing for bass and pan fish. Bass fishing has been better than it was in the late summer with anglers scoring bites using finesses and reaction baits. Drop shot, Senkos, and jigs all took a fair number of bass last week, but some chunky bass were reported by anglers throwing spinnerbaits. The catfish ate garlic scented nightcrawlers, dip baits, and cut anchovies while the bluegill and crappie went for redworms or nightcrawler pieces floated under a bobber.
