The lake is holding at 9 percent and there continues to be a better than average crappie bite going on. Fish have been reported from French Gulch Marina and around structure with crappie jigs or live minnows. contacts reported solid catfish action for fish to 12 pounds on mackerel, minnows, and night crawlers. The largemouth bass fishing has slowed a bit, but there was a report of a 10-pound fish caught this week. Bass have been coming on deep diving crankbaits, Senkos and creature baits. Trout action remains fair with a few holdovers coming out in deeper water near the auxiliary dam.
