July 19, 2009: Carp Tournament Becky Mattz, Sun City, won the 100 prize with an 2lb 3oz Carp. Gary Burkett Jr. & Sr. of Riverside, pulled in a total of 53lbs of Carp on Sunday July 12th 2009. The pair came back this Sunday July 19th 2009 and reeled in another 42lbs.

Steve and Janna Desrocker, Hemet, have reeled in a total of 188 lbs. since July 1st. This week alone they brought in 80.8lbs.

Sophie (age 6) and Aubrey (age 10) Carver, Idyllwild girls, were trolling by the dam with lures (and their dad, ofcouse). They pulled in 12 trout. Biggest weighted 2 1/2lbs and was 17\\\" long.

Pete Wynn, Hemet, limited out a second day using nightcrawlers on the North side of lake.

July 18, 2009: Pete Wynn, Hemet, limited out on trout using nightcrawlers while trolling in 40ft. of water. Largest was 15\\\".

Denise Lemoine, Riverside, caught a 6lb. Catfish in the Marina using worms.

Tristen Simpson, 10 yrs. old of Riverside, caught 21 mixed catches of fish. Tristen made Grandpa stay 3 days cause the fishing was so good!

July 17, 2009: Brandon Parris, Orange, caught 5 trout near the dam using needlefish while trolling. Most were 1-2lbs.

July 16, 2009: Layne Fleming, caught his limit of trout off the point with nightcrawlers. The biggest catch was 3lbs.
