I had the opportunity to jump aboard the Gentleman out of Channel Islands Sportfishing in Oxnard for a ?? Day trip. It's been several years since I've fished on the Gentleman and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the upgrades made to the vessel. The Northern Channel Islands have been the hot ticket as we kick off the early 09' season. Just about the entire fleet has been returning to the barn with limits of nice grade rockfish. We had a blast fishing the Gentleman and Captain Rowell's persistence paid off in full!
