Anglers Having Luck off Points and Walls

Even though conditions have been a bit tough for bass fishing, anglers have still been having luck off points and walls using drop shots roboworms or nightcrawlers. Other baits that have been successful over the past couple weeks have been deeper diving jerk baits and crank baits, nedrigs and various trailers, and jigs. Trout are still being caught along the rip rap in front of the bar shop, Spanish Point and Bear Trap using garlic and salmon egg scented powerbaits, mice tails and night crawlers. The catfish are still bing own deep within the coves around the lake and along the sandy banks towards Yellowbar on chicken liver, sardines and anchoives bait and wait style. The striper bite has slowed down a bit but a few have been caught by trolling around the lake or showing out lugworms or nightcralwers in the canal by the entrance booth.

Pyramid Lake, CAOver the past few weeks, people have been catching trout along the rip rap in front of the bait shop during the first few hours of the day on nightcrawlers, mice tails, and garlic or salmon egg scented powerbaits.
