Catfish Are in High Action This Week

The water temperature is 74 degrees.
Striper: Medium Action: Striper boils early morning hours over by the dam, top water bites over at the inlet/dam area, also use cut mackerels, shad and chicken livers.
Blue Gill: Slow Action: This week there has been reports of blue gills across from the marina using meal worms and wax worms.
Catfish: High Action: This week there has been plenty of cats being caught over at ramp 2 and catfish alley, hitting on chicken livers, mackerels, and night crawlers.
Large Mouth: Medium Action: The largemouth bass are over on the north shore and across from the marina, try catching them on purple and green robo worms and night crawlers.
Trout: No action/no trout plants.
Carp: Huge and plenty… come and get them, teach the kids a new challenge.

Catfish Bite is Going Strong
Lake SkinnerThe water temperature is 77-79 degrees. Striper: Medium Action: Anglers are catching them trolling with umbrella rigs and deep crankbaits. The cut bait bite has slowly been picking up in the usual spots like the Inlet. Random boils throughout the lake. Catfish: High Action: Going strong, they are everywhere.
