Tons of trout have been caught from shore and around the marina, even all the way out of Spanish Point and Bear Trap! There were two fish plants at the end of last week and are expecting more to come!

Stripers and bass are also biting very well both from shore and throughout the coves around the lake. Some anglers have been getting bites on top water baits during the first couple hours of the morning and throughout the days on various baits such as lugworms, nightcrawler, chicken liver and sardines.

Both largemouth and smallmouth bass have been biting very well all along the shorelines and coves of the lake. Weedless setups with soft plastics such as flukes and senkos have been working well along with some reaction baits like spinner baits and crank baits.

Best spot from shore have been along the rip rap and along the channel front.
