Creek fishing went wide open following a heavy plant of fish by the DFG on Friday on top of last week's Alpers stocking by Adopt-A-Creek. Some toads to 5lbs 1oz have been coming out of the creek on salmon eggs, jigs and spinners.
Weir Pond is absolutely on fire after DFG and Alpers plants this week. Jigs, Powerworms and salmon eggs are best.
Adopt-A-Creek in partnership with the Piute Palace Casino are still stocking Alpers with bright orange tags worth $25-$100 in casino credits. Five of these tagged fish will be put in the creeks, North Lake & Intake II each week!
