Creek fishing has been solid this week on the usual, salmon eggs, panther martins, baby nightcrawlers and white or brown mini-jigs. Suprisingly yellow was the hot collor for salmon eggs this week, a little out of the norm but I heard this echoed throughout the week. Not many of the Alpers stocked last week wanted to play but they are in there. Dave Dennett of El Cajon did manage a solid 6lb 6oz rainbow out of Weir Pond.
Adopt-A-Creek has partnered with the Piute Palace Casino and will be stocking Alpers with bright orange tags worth $25-$100 in casino credits. Five of these tagged fish will be put in the creeks, North Lake & Intake II each week!
