Capt Rafa coming in from SRI. Good day today folks. A lot of nice quality rockfish and lings on the boat for our 15 anglers. Lost quite a few big ones due to structure and line snapping. Be prepared with a 30, 40 to 50 pound outfit when coming out on our 3/4 day island trips. 3/0, 4/0, 5/0 hooks with 12 ounce weights. Or even a pound weight. 8 to 10 ounce ahi jigs or flatfalls. All tactics worked today. Jackpot, 17 pound ling caught on a jig.
