Nice day of fishing for us today across at Santa Rosa Island today with only 17 anglers on board.  

We headed across this morning and started our day fishing some larger patches of hard bottom with very strong current.  After only catching a few fish for the bags we headed elsewhere and were able to find better conditions.  Our next couple hours we stayed busy steadily picking away at nice quality rockfish  as well as a few Whitefish to go along with it.  Our last part of the day we ran back out to deeper water and were able to top off the bags with more Reds and a few more Lingcod. 

Our 17 anglers ended the day with 56 Reds,  79 Coppers, 35 Rockfish27 Whitefish, 2 Sheephead, 2 Sculpin and 12 Lingcod. 

The Stardust needs reservations to go out 1/2 Day Fishing tomorrow as well as 3/4 Day Fishing Thursday and Friday.  The Coral Sea has room for its 3/4 Day Wednesday and needs more reservations to go 1/2 Day Fishing Thursday and Friday.  Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 or visit our website to book online.
