Well folks today we were at the mercy of the wind as it made for a long drive this morning. We started our day trying to get to Santa Rosa Island and around half way the wind picked up and we had to head elsewhere.
We went the distance and got to the ranch in still bumpy but completely manageable conditions. We made the most of our time up there and were able to put a nice catch of fish on the boat for our anglers that participated. The live anchovy on the double dropper loops worked the best and a few people did well with there while squid. A mixture of Rockfish today with Reds, Widows, Coppers, Starries and some nice yellowtail Rockfish. Our ride in is very nice so far and for that we are thankful.
Only 32 of our anglers chose to fish and for there efforts we ended up with 283 Rockfish, 21 ocean Whitefish, 1 Calico Bass a Lingcod.
The Stardust is heading out 1/2 Day Fishing tomorrow with a light load and still needs people to go fishing Tuesday and Wednesday. The Coral Sea is going 3/4 Day Fishing Monday- Wednesday with plenty of room Tuesday and Wednesday. Please call the Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
