Fishing at Castaic is good. The largemouth bass are boiling in the back of coves with a few stripers mixed in, mostly in the mornings. A few swimbait stripers were caught in the last week after our first trout plant. Catfish has been slow for most but some guys are catching them on anchovies and night crawlers. We should be receiving another trout plant soon.

Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers boils are slowing down.Going deeper is working. Spoons are working best. The largemouth and smallmouth bass are boiling good. The bass boils have been mainly in the back of coves.Topwater and flukes along with other shad pattern plastics are working best for the bass boils.
