Fishing at Castaic is very good. The stripers and bass are boiling good. Shad pattern lures are working best in the boils. The bass are boiling mostly in the back of coves. The bluegill and catfish have been slow. We should be receiving a trout plant this week.

Fishing at Castaic is very good. The stripers are boiling in the mornings.Topwater and spoons are working best. The largemouth and mallmouth bass are boiling good as well. The bass boils have been mainly in the back of coves. Topwater and flukes along with other shad pattern plastics are working best for the bass boils.
