Stardust 3/4 day is heading in right now from a fantastic day of fishing over at Santa Rosa island. The weather couldn’t get any better then it was today it was flat calm. We went straight to look for Lingcod in the morning and had instant biters on nice grade Lingcod. The fishing was so fast and furious it only took a little over an hour to limit out on Lingcod. We got into some really nice size fish as well, one was weighed in at 22lbs.
After that we headed in shallow for some rockfish and whitefish action which was also very good. Our first few drifts the whole boat was bit immediately on whitefish and we threw on a ton of fish throughout some long but action packed drifts. The fish ranged from medium whitefish to coppers and other assorted rockfish. Our passengers had a blast today and rarely got a break from pulling on Fish. Sorry for the lack of pictures today the crew was hustling as hard as they could just to unhook and bag up Fish.
For our 39 anglers we caught 206 rockfish, 286 ocean whitefish, 1 sheephead and 78 lingcod. The Stardust is running a 3/4 day trip tomorrow and has lots of spots available and the Coral Sea is a go 1/2 day fishing so book your reservations now for upcoming trips through our website or call the Santa Barbara Sea landing at 805-963-3564.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (805) 963-3564 to get in on the action
